Owner, President, Data Acquisition & Driver Coach
As president and co-founder of Flatout Motorsports, Nick handles the company's strategic and day-to-day operations both in the shop and at the track. Nick has been a nationally competitive autocrosser and roadracer for nearly two decades. His driving resume includes more than a dozen wins in Pro Solo and National Tour autocrosses; too many victories to count in SCCA Regional roadracing; six season points championships in New England and northeastern race series; and more than 20 races in professional series such as SCCA's World Challenge and Grand-Am's KONI Challenge. Nick graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1991 and, during his rare respites from racing, can be found running, bicycling, or skiing.
Owner, Vice-President, Race Car Sales & Rentals Manager
Andy, another co-founder of Flatout, is a 19-year SCCA member with more than 20 Regional and Divisional championships in Solo competition and roadracing, as well as multiple track records. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, he uses his degree in Marketing to create and develop the company's sales, advertising, marketing and partnership programs.
Vice-President of Operations
Jody Leverone is a lifelong racer, having grown up in an enthusiastic SCCA household, and the key player in Flatout's day-to-day operations. A 2010 graduate of the University of Connecticut's School of Business, she previously worked in the insurance industry in both sales and risk management. At Flatout, she has undertaken the daunting task of keeping the office running smoothly and managing the facility. Underscoring the fact that at Flatout Motorsports, everybody's a racer, Jody was the 2013 champion of SCCA New England Region's competitive SSM class.
Race Engineer, Fabricator, Crew Member
Evan Consolazio has been with Flatout since 2009. A fabrication specialist and race engineer, he is also a car setup expert, having been our top alignment man for years. Evan often crews at the track; he's an avid Honda enthusiast who runs a Honda-focused car club with close friends and family.
Transmission Specialist, Crew Member
Andrew Burke has worked at Flatout more than three years, and has nearly a decade's experience as an auto technician. Our ace transmission specialist, he also performs post-race services and at-track crew work. Additionally, due to his extensive Ford training, Andrew maintains our fleet of trucks! He owns a mint '86 Firebird and gets his hoots in go-carts and on ATVs.
Dyno Technician, Crew Member
Seamus Erskine came to Flatout in 2013 with 10 years of experience in the high-performance industry. He's a fabricator and our lead dyno technician, and he specializes in turbocharged, high-horsepower cars. Seamus, who's also a great crewman at the track, has worked on Hondas, VW/Audis, BMWs, Porsches, Subarus, and other marques.
Technician, Crew Member
Technician David Goulet maintains and modifies street cars in addition to our racing Miatas. He also handles fleet maintenance and inventory, and he crews at the track. With seven years' experience at a corporate repair shop, David prides himself on handling "anything that needs to get done." An avid mountain biker, skeet shooter and hunter, he loves Japanese cars - especially classic Hondas.
Crew Chief, Rig Driver
Adam was Flatout's very first employee, and he's done nearly everything. As holder of a Commercial Driver's License, he is the primary driver of our Renegade 5-car hauler. At the track, he's an experienced crew chief who can manage an enduro, a professional race weekend, a 15-car Club Racing weekend, and anything else that arises. Adam's positive outlook and humor make him a much-loved figure in the paddock - and he's a very quick driver when he gets the chance!
Hugh is President of John Hancock Wealth Management, the U.S. division of Toronto-based Manulife Financial Corp. He also oversees John Hancock Investment Management Services and is a member of Manulife Financial's executive committee. Hugh came to Flatout from Skip Barber and has been an Arrive & Drive customer for three years. He and sons Ryan and Craig race regionally in SCCA's SM and SSM classes. In 2008, Hugh placed second in SSM points in the North Atlantic Roadrace Championship series, and he also competes at the National level.
